1997- Art is Light, Boston University, Photonics Center. Instituted and Program Director for an annual competition for Visual Arts Students at Boston University. Sponsored by the Photonics Center, the prize winner is awarded a fee and production costs for a site-specific architectural commission that celebrates and uses light as a medium. Artworks are installed in the Photonics Center. Competition commenced 1997
1998- Visiting New York, Boston University. Established special fund for visual arts students to visit exhibitions in New York. Secured $50,000 in first year. Fund commenced Summer 1998
1998-99 Foundation for the Humanities, Boston University, Grant Award for Master Class Series proposal
